There’s a new way of dating in town today. It’s online dating.

I’ve done this myself. The downside is that it’s almost always long distance relationships. This didn’t used to bother me, but after awhile it took its toll.

But if doesn’t bother you there’s nothing wrong with it. But if your relationship goes far enough, then the question will eventually come of who’s moving to whom. Which of you is willing to give up their life as they know it to move to the other person in a totally strange place.

And If it doesn’t work out, then the person that moves will be stranded in a strange place alone. Sure they could just move back, but they would be unemployed if they moved back and jobs are as scarce as snake lips theses days.

You see these sites advertised on TV and you can look them up online and get info on each one. You always need to use several good clear pictures and make sure they are current pictures. Do not use pictures from 10 or 20 years ago. Do not use pictures when you were 30 pounds lighter.

Do not use pictures back when you used to have hair. Use current pictures as a matter of fact take new pictures. Using hair color or beard dye is expectable, women use hair color everyday.

Take up close face shots and full body shots; be honest with your appearance. Because when you meet in person you will be exposed if you have misrepresented yourself.

It’s not fair to the person that you are meeting, so be honest. Use plenty of light, smile, fix your hair, dress nice and take a lot of pictures. This way you will be able to pick a few good ones from the many pics that you took.

Never lie about your age, your marital status or your location. Honesty is the best policy. You don’t want to be lied to so don’t lie to anyone else, and um white lies are just lies, so no white lies either.

Don’t talk vulgar or be rude, even if you are. There’s too many scum bag scammers out there now preying on innocent women and vise versa.
